About Qronika

Preserving the story of the work.

A handmade piece carries more than its finished form.

It carries ideas, choices, skills, materials, techniques and time. Sometimes it carries personal memories, family connections or a meaning known only to its maker.

The finished object tells only part of that story.

Qronika exists to help preserve the rest.

Every creation has a history.

Where did the materials come from? Who made the piece? What inspired its design? What challenges shaped the result?

These details form part of a creation's provenance — its recorded origins and history.

Qronika gives makers a way to document that history in their own words, supported by photographs and Milestones from the making process.

The information is provided by the maker; Qronika does not independently certify authorship, ownership or authenticity.

Capture the story as it unfolds.

The most meaningful details are often easiest to remember while the work is underway.

Qronika provides a private space to capture Milestones, photographs, techniques, decisions and reflections as a project develops.

You decide what to record and when you're ready to share it.

Preserve a record of the finished creation.

When the work is ready, you can turn your recorded story into a sealed Qronika publication.

Choose a presentation style, preview the result and publish the photographs and details that tell the story of your creation.

Once published, the record is fixed and cannot be edited.

You can also choose an optional Keepsake Album, a downloadable digital PDF companion to your published story.

Let the story travel with the piece.

A creation may eventually be gifted, sold, displayed or passed down.

Its story doesn't have to be lost along the way.

A Qronika publication can be shared directly, while a physical QR badge can connect the finished object to the maker's recorded history.

Someone discovering the piece later can learn more about the person and process behind it.
